Sight words 

  • Kindergarten Sight Words
  • Practice writing 10 different sight words each day & have your child verbally use the sight word in a sentence
  • Have students choose a topic to write about.  Have them use the sight words below to assist with spelling.  If students say “I don’t know what to write” see below for writing prompts to help give them some ideas.


what to write

  • Have your child write a letter or card for their teacher.
  • Have your child write a letter or card to a friend in class.
  • Have your child write a “how to” paper. Ex: how to brush teeth

 

Math

 

  • Count to 100 by 1’s
  • County to 100 by 10’s beginning at any number
  • Count by 10's Video
  • Count backwards from 20 with or without objects
  • Identify & write numbers to 20 (in random order) 
  • Have your child help create flashcards with numbers 0 – 20 & practice them in random order.
