Grand Saline ISD Old School Museum

"Changing the World One Student At a Time"

The Grand Saline Old School Museum

The Old School Museum is located on a city block that is surrounded by Main Street, High Street, Green Street, and Wolfe Street. The building was rebuilt in 2008 to closely resemble the old high school building that was destroyed by fire in September of 2006. The facility is currently occupied by a volunteer community group known as The Friends of The Old School. This group has a long term lease on the building and will maintain and perform upkeep on the building while populating and running a museum that tells the story of the old school and the stories of many of those who walked through the halls of Grand Saline High School. The building also has several community rooms that can be rented for family reunions, community organization meetings, birthday parties, etc. Anyone interested in using the building should contact Mr. Ed Bailey at 903-829-9792.
