There will be a GSHS Softball parents' meeting on Tuesday, February 7 in the High School Library immediately following the JV girls basketball game. The meeting should begin at approximately 5:30pm. For more information, please contact Coach Swetlick at (903)962-7533 ext. 235

Softball Field Ribbon Cutting February 14
The ribbon cutting ceremony for new softball field will be Tuesday, February 14th at 5:30 with the game following at 6:00 vs Fruitvale. All former players are encouraged to attend to be recognized. Brookshire’s will provide ice cream and cake for the ceremony.

GSHS Wins Annual Manna, Inc. Food Drive Competition

Smith/Truett Named Academic All-State Volleyball

Grand Saline High School seniors, Alisha Smith and Kirstee Truett were named to the 2011 Academic All-State Volleyball Team. Academic All-State honors are awarded to students who excel athletically as well as in the classroom. Students must hold an overall academic average of 92 or better to be selected.

County Line Magazine Sponsors Poetry Contest For All Ages

County Line Magazine, the news magazine for Northeast Texas has announced its annual "Upper East Side of Texas Poetry Contest". The contest has categories for writers of all ages, including a Grade 9-12 category. Read more...
